Origin

Where does our Spanish cheese come from?

Spain has a long tradition of sheep's milk cheese, from the central plateau to the north. The milk gives a firm, rich cheese that grows sharper and more crystalline as it ages.

Smoked versions are cold- or warm-smoked over wood for a gentle smoke note. We confirm the exact style, age and format with your quote.

  • Torta del Casar PDO: soft sheep's milk cheese from Cáceres, in Extremadura, so creamy it is eaten with a spoon.
  • Mahón-Menorca PDO: cow's milk cheese from the island of Menorca, from young and mild to long-aged and sharp.
  • Tetilla PDO: soft, mild cow's milk cheese from Galicia, in its traditional cone shape.
